This unit is frequently praised for its excellent value and straightforward assembly, with many users noting that the buckle-based construction allows for a quick setup. While designed for two people, several reviewers mention that the interior is quite cozy and better suited for a single occupant or two smaller individuals. The infrared heating performance is generally well-received for providing a consistent sweat, though it may take some time to reach peak temperatures. The quality of the Canadian Hemlock wood and the addition of an audio system are highlighted as features that enhance the overall relaxation experience at an accessible price point.
Pros
- Easy Assembly: The pre-installed buckle system allows for a quick and simple setup process that most users complete in under an hour.
- Quality Construction: The Canadian Hemlock wood is frequently described as sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and resistant to warping or cracking.
- Great Value: Reviewers often highlight that this unit provides a high-quality sauna experience at a much lower price than luxury alternatives.
- Compact Footprint: The design is praised for being space-efficient, making it suitable for placement in home gyms, garages, or master bathrooms.
Cons
- Cramped Interior: Many users find the seating area a bit tight for two adults, suggesting it is much more comfortable when used by a single person.
- Slow Heating: Some reviews mention that the unit takes 20 to 30 minutes to reach the desired maximum temperature, requiring advance planning for sessions.
- Basic Audio: The integrated speakers are often described as having mediocre sound quality, with some users preferring to use their own portable devices.
- Minor Heat Loss: A few customers noted slight drafts around the glass door seals, which can make it difficult to maintain the highest possible heat levels during use.
